General Counsel, Aware, USALiz Maag has been a licensed U.S. attorney since 2008. Originally an engineer, her career began with a focus on patent law. She moved into corporate law with Honda Patents & Technologies North America, LLC, but then shifted into the GC role of a start-up company. She pivoted once more, practicing antitrust law at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. Currently, she is the Senior Legal Counsel for a technology start-up company, Aware, based out of Columbus, Ohio.
