Ian McDougall
EVP & General Counsel, LexisNexis, USAIan McDougall is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for LexisNexis, Legal & Professional. Mr. McDougall is also President of the LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation; A non-profit charitable organization registered in the US and established to advance the Rule of Law.
Since 2023 he has been a Trustee and Board member of the Civil Liberties Trust in the UK and an Adjunct Professor at IE University in Madrid, Spain, teaching the Rule of Law and Artificial Intelligence & the legal profession.
At LexisNexis, Mr. McDougall has stepped into varying roles, including Interim CEO – AsiaPac, Interim HR Director and Interim Managing Director for LexisNexis New Zealand.
Mr. McDougall was a founder member of the United Nations Rule of Law Steering Committee and was a member of the UN General Counsel Advisory Board.
