2020: In-House (and House) Turned Upside Down

Abstract

In this paper, we look back at 2020 to assess the impact the pandemic has had on our lives, both personally and professionally, and on the legal profession as a whole. Although predictions are hard to make for a post pandemic return to normal, it is clear that a lot of what we considered to be the norm will have been impacted for long enough now to lead to permanent changes. Along with such changes, however, comes challenges and opportunities to be embraced, which we will also look at here.
