Essential Strategies to Maximize the Value of eDiscovery Engagements

September 2017EmploymentConsultant

Abstract

Corporate legal departments face growing challenges on multiple fronts – mounting domestic and global regulations, compliance concerns, information privacy and security matters, escalating litigation costs. When it comes to litigation, no longer does a request for discovery merely require that a team of lawyers manually examine reams of documents and paper files to identify and extract relevant evidence. Instead, legal obligations inherent in a request for discovery these days likely also necessitate the review of thousands if not millions of emails, documents, spreadsheets, and other digital records, including information stored on scores of mobiles devices, networks, databases, hard drives, and even in the cloud. In today’s ever-expanding data-driven world, leaders in the legal field are seeking innovative approaches to efficiently and effectively manage eDiscovery engagements.
