Managing a legal department comes with a certain set of challenges. Managing a legal department across multiple sites adds to the challenges. Managing a legal department across multiple sites spanning multiple countries across time zones and cultural divides adds a whole new dimension to the challenges. When building or managing an international legal department, there are seven general guidelines that should aid in dealing with these challenges.
